UNKNOWN FACTS ABOUT JAGANNATH TEMPLE PURI .

 1 . The flag located at the top of the temple dome is always waves in the opposite direction of the wind.

2 . The SUDARSHAN CHAKRA standing at the top of the temple is to be visible from every corner of the city and it is installed in such a way that it makes you feel that it is facing towards you irrespective of the place you are.
3 . There is nothing flies above the temple. no planes, not even birds. there is not any no flying zone above the temple.

4 . In Hindu mythology, wasting food is considered a bad sign; the Temple crew follows the same.  A total number of people visiting the temple varies between 2,000 to 2, 00,000 people every day. Miraculously, the Parsadam prepared every day is never wasted, not even a bite. Could this be an effective management or the Lord's will?

5 . A priest climb the dome of the temple and change the flag every day since 1800 years as apart of the ritual. If it is not changed any day, then the temple must be shut down for the next 18 years.
